As the last two years have restricted social gatherings, the Billingshurst Southwater and Shipley Branch Conservatives thought it would be a good idea to invite members, old and new, to get together in an informal and relaxed setting at Durrance Manor in Shipley on Saturday 27 May from 6.30 to 8.30 pm.
Gordon Lindsay, our host, has always been very supportive of our Branch and as he is opening his garden to the public at the end of May, he kindly suggested that members might like to visit and wander around the garden, meet up with others and partake of some light refreshments. Although it is advertised as "Bangers and Booze", there will also be wine and soft drinks available to accompany the bangers in a bap! We are hoping to provide some local beers and have already approached some of the breweries in the area.
There will be no charge for entry, but donations will be welcome and there will be a “One Prize Raffle”, Dinner for Two at the beautiful Countryman Inn, Shipley.
Please could you let us know if you would like to come by emailing Amanda Jupp on [email protected], so we have an idea of numbers for catering.
