Last night, Horsham Conservative Association held its Annual Dinner at Slinfold Golf and Country Club. This is the Association's primary fundraising event and this year was no exception.
The Guest of Honour was none other than the Home Secretary, the Rt Hon Sajid Javed MP. The event was attended by our local MP, Jeremy Quin and over 75 Conservative Party members and supporters. In his introduction of the Home Secretary, the Association Chairman, Adrian M Lee, highlighted the vigour with which the Home Secretary has approached his job since taking office over a year ago and how he has dealt with the key challenges with resolve and efficiency.
Members heard from Sajid Javid on a the key challenges facing our country at present including the broader economic picture of a post-Brexit climate and the existential threat of a Corbyn-led Labour government.
The Dinner was a huge success and members went home having enjoyed a great evening, a great speaker and some wonderful food.
