Under the Conservatives, crime has fallen 56% (excluding fraud) since 2010.
Thanks to action by our Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner, Katy Bourne, this momentum is being maintained with Sussex Police having seen 679 ADDITIONAL police officers join in the past year. This means more police officers, alongside more PCSOs keeping our streets and communities safe.
When concerns were raised around behaviour in Horsham Town Centre last year Jeremy enlisted the urgent support of Katy and more resources were put into the town to good effect.
This has continued with the new “Horsham Town Police Team” a very visible and welcome presence around our town centre.
In a January survey, Horsham had one of the 20 lowest levels of violent crime in the country - a record we are determined to maintain.
