As a result of collaboration between Horsham District Council and West Sussex County Council, the largest-ever local authority roll-out of electric vehicle (EV) charging points in the UK was launched this summer across Horsham.
The ground-breaking project will transform EV provision locally, seeing thousands of chargepoints installed on streets, council-owned car parks and on community facilities, which will help many drivers without off-street parking to go electric. Residents will be consulted over where they want the charging points located. The roll-out will continue over the next decade.
