Conservatives have today published their local manifesto for the forthcoming elections to Horsham District Council on 2 May 2019.
Commenting, Council Leader, Councillor Ray Dawe said, "Horsham District Council has a brilliant record of achievement locally. We have the lowest Council Tax in West Sussex and also the best recycling rate. We have maintained all core services for our residents who now benefit from outstanding local services. We have invested locally to deliver a high-quality leisure facility in The Bridge in Broadbridge Heath at a cost of £12.5m. In addition, we have redeveloped Piries Pace with a brand new Everyman Cinema, a new Premier Inn hotel along with a range of bars and restaurants. We are also delivering a brand new parking facility at £7.5m which will allow our residents to use the new facilities and access the town centre."
Despite huge pressures on high streets nationally, footfall in Horsham is bucking the trend and actually increased last year. This demonstrates the confidence local people have in our district and underlines the outstanding record of achievement by the Conservatives leading Horsham District Council.
Our manifesto is attached to this page and we will campaign hard to return Conservative Councillors on 2 May so that we can carry on delivering fantastic value for money to our residents.
